Eva-02 shoots at it as well, while Eva-00 attempts to counteract the AT Field as best as it can.

The three of you aren't making much of a dent.

And then the lead end of the Angel rams through Eva-00!

"Rei!" you and Asuka shout simultaneously.

You charge forward and slice at the Angel with the prog knife. Immediately, your knife goes right through it, splitting the Angel into two pieces. The piece in Eva-00 melts away.

The rest, however, explodes.

You wake up in a Nerv hospital. Asuka is standing over your bed.

"Hey, Third," she says. "You got knocked unconscious by the blast. Can you *stop* breaking your Eva every fight?"

You blink in confusion. "Well..." you say. "Uh..."


"S... sorry."
"Is Rei okay?"
"Wha... what happened after the explosion?"
"I'll stop breaking my Eva as soon as you start piloting better."
"What are you doing here?"

"Wha... what happened after the explosion?" seems like it'd cover the bases of Rei's status and everything else that might be relevant, might as well go for that. Asking her directly why she's there or if Rei is okay will most likely be interpreted the wrong way.

But guys, we're going to need to pick a chick. Seeing as every one besides this one is Asuka friendly...can we please have Rei or Misato? I'm getting sick of the fucking red head.

It got to the point clapped the last time I saw EoE and Asuka was made into a human pin cushion.

"Well, it's pretty simple. I raised my AT Field, unlike you. The Angel exploded, but didn't do a lot of damage. They force ejected you and the First, and rushed both of you off to the hospital before I could get a good look. I asked how you were doing, and they said this was yours and the First's hospital room."

She pauses. "But... Well... Rei's not here. And none of the doctors or nurses I've talked to seem to realize she *should* be here. Weird, huh?"

She sits down on the edge of your bed. "That was Sunday. And Monday. *And* Tuesday. Whatever happened, the Angel did a good job of knocking you out. You missed Health and Sports day!"

"So... it's Wednesday...?"

"Mmhmm. Wednesday, October fourteen. After school. Practically after dinner. I guess they'll let you out tomorrow." She gets up and leaves.
