There is still the speculative Live Action Evangelion film.

Sadamoto's Evangelion manga is still ongoing.

Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku is still ongoing.

Evangelion Gakuen Datenroku is still ongoing.

More video games.

Etc.

Sadamoto's Eva manga is compleated in the EoE... i think.
cuz' the last chapter i've read is taking the plot of EoE...minus Shinji getting freaky in front of Asuka...and doing shit.

As for the Shinji Ikari Rasing Project...any updates, i've heard dark horse comics is reponsible for the official english version.

The live-action movie...God knows what would happen, cuz' there's no producer and writer...

I agree since the series redone in HD would be rather nice and why not remove of the pointless episodes like Jet Alone. Or make the anime closer to the Manga

This is the first time i've heard about this... baka simon!

By 2013 or 2014 the fan base will be still strong since animes like DBZ, Saint Seiya, and Gundam from the 80's are still popular. I don't see the series dieing anytime soon.

hmm, that's a good point i didn't saw that one.
and oh yeah, i just occured to me that gundam is from the 80's.
i used to be a fan of gundam wing until eva came along,
hope eva becomes an epic that people would remember it forever.
it is something that Anno would be remembered even when he dies.
not to mention Sadamoto.

If he gives it an actual ending and cuts out the whole 'dream voyage' section I'm down with that.

will it be put away in the shelves of time or some other thinggy?

Wait what?

Ummm maybe we'll get rebuild of ebichu after this :leekspin:

I still think its funny that the first serious anime anno did after evangelion was evangelion even though he said he would never make anymore evangelion.

The manga, spin offs and all that crap can continue. I don't pay attention to it.

My interests with Eva concern the core series and the movies.

And you know what I'd like to happen after Rebuild ends?

NOTHING.

Ikari Shinji Raising Project stuff Japan-wise: http://forum.evageeks.org/viewtopic.php?p=262715#262715

Also, in case it wasn't clear, I'm one of the people that hopes Rebuild is the final Eva-related thing in terms of on the screen/something relating back to the original series.

Any other things like AU OVAs (eg: Puchi Eva), the spin-off manga, games, merchandise, I'm fine with (though most being decent would be nice) and wouldn't expect the Gainax*Kara Cash Cow to die anytime soon. ;)

God willing it'll be the Live Action Evangelion movies, which if they start production on soon would probably come out a year or two after the final Rebuild movie. Unfortunately though, the project currently has no director and no studio, so it's not going anywhere ATM. :(

I bet when I go see Jim Cameron's Avatar later this year, it's going to leave me depressingly drooling about what Weta could do for LAEM. :(

Psst, that's not that Avatar.

I really hope that if LAEM ever takes off the ground, they will use writerofevangelion91's script. That's just pure genius:P!

I hope they fucking wait for me! I'm soon starting school and I'll be on my way to become a writer. Not only do I plan to bring some faithfulness to it, but also some originality. Highly unlikely I'll really be involved with it, but can't a boy dream?

If I miss being able to participate on the non musical movie, I'll be the one to write this. Mark my words, it will be done!

More WAFF/cheesy spin-off manga's. Evangelion live action movies (I hope not), Evangelion on Ice and broadway, then a saturday morning cartoon on Fox network.
I have no complaints with tons of Eva videogames tho, in fact I hope they make a bunch for the Rebuild series. (and release them in North America)

I was a little annoyed initially when Rebuild was announced so count me as one of those people also. I like Rebuild so far but...I'm sure you know what I mean regarding that. :smirk:

Anno will resume his hookers and coke lifestyle until the money runs out again.

Or most likely mucho special edition DVD's.

-Gendo's final silenced line to Ritsuko was "I'm going to shoot you now."

Ain't it obvious?
-Merchandising
-DVD/Blue-Rei re-releases
-Manga spin offs (assuming)
-Video games
-"special" 20th anniversary merchandise
-Cameos
-TV airings.
