I found two absolutely brilliant Eva videos you should check out:

Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven

Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution
Spike Spiegel: Look at my eyes, Faye. One of them is a fake because I lost it in an accident. Since then, I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

I came across this.

It's overdramatic throughout, until the end, which really took me off guard and made me laugh.

Heres the index page for other Eva related music videos from the same site.

Does anyone know where to get "Evangelion Opus"? The link in here is dead, the link for a spot on this site is dead, and everyone on Google either has it and won't share, or is looking for it too. I'd use Kazaa or Limewire or something like that, but they won't work with my router.

I was finally able to get it from Video Google. Found a Firefox extension called Greasemonkey that's supposed to let you download from Video Google and YouTube, but YouTube just changed their stuff around so it only works on Google now.

Not bad for a first attempt. I wasn't feeling the musical choice. I've always liked Foo Fighters, but this song just didn't mesh too well, it just felt kind of vague to me. You made it work about as well as anyone could be expected, and you did a good job highlighting the struggles of the principle characters Shinji, Rei, Asuka, and Misato. Although the addition of Misato along with the pilots just seems a little weird to me. The editing and selection of visuals was good, but the editing seemed a little clumsy here and there, especially towards the end. The only suggestion I would make would be to make sure you keep your aspect ratio consistent in future videos. Either crop the widescreen video to fullscreen, or crop the fullscreen to widescreen. You really can't have both, it makes the video really uneven.

Thanks for the feedback.

The reason I chose A320 by Foo Fighters was because I thought it was quite a beautiful song that I personally thought fitted Eva. Also I wanted to use the part at 3:05 on the video to be almost like the end of the world in a nostalga kinda way, the same at 3:40 on the video.

I used Misato as well along with the three Eva pilots simply becuase, they were the four main characters and I wanted to include her so that everyone can see her side of her suffering, as well as both Shinji, Rei and Asuka.

I kinda noticed at my final project at I did get a bit lazy at the end from about 5:06 to 5:39. That was because I had run out of ideas by that point and I just included random footage of the end of the world with Lilith Rei and the whole of humanity, except Shinji and Asuka, wiped out.

Also, I used Windows Movie Maker, so the editing wasn't the best in the world. I realised that the footage of the ratio aspect was off at times and I apologize for that.

But thanks for your opinion anyway.
