This is a good place to start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGB0XaDYXCI

The Youtube channel with more: http://www.youtube.com/user/CHURCHOFNERV

I don't know if this has been posted before, or even if it is real, but this seems to be a religious movement that has aped some of the visuals/terms from NGE to... well... I don't know. O_O

Fake or not, it made me giggle. ^_^

That it beyond creepy. Maybe they saw the show and interpereted it somehow. Either that or it is some kind of wierd publicity stunt.

Almost reminds me of Matrixism and The Church of Ed Wood.

It amazes me that many "religions" today aren't even trying to base themselves off of some sort of historical text or account anymore. We'll just turn on the TV and worship whatever's on.

I'm waiting for Oprah to have a religion. It isn't her hard core "followers" don't already consider her magazines sacred anyway.

You can say whatever you want, is still better than scientology.

This reminds me of a plot point in the as of now unifinished part 3 of "Tales from that place over there" I'm currently writing. Lets just hope that church isn't run by people eating lost children from another dimension.

Yay, one more apocalyptic panic mongerer. Not much different at heart than others. Just groovier graphics.

They have the date of Second Impact (which they seem to equate with the Second Coming) "scheduled" for 25/12/2012...

NERV has a church, now! And it is in India?! I expected this from Betterman but from Eva? Although given the fanbase, I shouldn't be too surprised at this.

It won't be long for places like this to start popping up in tons different countries. That wouldn't be suprising if this kind of place has already popped up in Japan.

I'm thinking it's just a christian ministry that got a little creative with the cross-marketing potential of rebuild.

Yes, pun definately intended.
