RIP Jean-Luc Godard, the French New Wave's final and greatest director. Probably the last filmmaker to actually matter to the medium in the way someone like Welles or Griffith did too. He always swung big and as a result sometimes made some absolutely baffling horseshit, but he also made so many fantastic films that will always be lodged in my mind forever.

It seems that Godard died of an assisted suicide. It's sad to think that he's no more, given just how incredible and influential he was - his influence coming all the way down to Evangelion too! RIP.

I think what really gets me is just a few months ago he was talking about doing at least two more films before retiring. Now hearing it was assisted suicide...I don't really know what to make of that tbh.

Like part of me really did think he could still be doing stuff into his mid 90's, but age or something else must have taken more of a toll on him than I really thought.

I just got the news that Kevin Conroy had passed away at 66. He has been our childhood hero as Batman, and he will be missed dearly.

R.I.P. Kevin Conroy.

I didn't hgrow up on the English voice track, but this one still hurts. We lost a legend today, and as by a great many anecdotes I've seen of people who met him, an all around great guy.

Jason David Frank, the actor who played Tommy the Green and White Power Ranger passed away at 49.

I just can’t believe it. He was a childhood icon and our hero.

It’s been a while since both these celebrity deaths but Hope they are both Resting in peace. As a long time UFC/MMA fan, Bonnar’s death was quite upsetting to hear about.

What I'll always remember about Lance Reddick are his big expressive eyes. Any time he shot that famous glare of his, it was like he could intimidate the universe itself and you weren't sure the universe wouldn't step back in hesitation.

Lance was fantastic in Fringe & Bosch.
He was my top choice to play Martian Manhunter.
