Who is going to see it next week? I'm since I'm a big Transformers fan and I enjoy the first movie even though it had a awful stroy and the humor was pointless. I got tickets for friday and if I like it enough then I will see it again at IMAX.

I know their is a Transformers thread but that thread was about Micheal Bay making the movies not the 2nd movie. Be free to fuse with the other topic if you want.

It's already out in Japan. Basically people say if you love the first or you're a teenage boy it might be worth seeing; if not, stay away.

The movie has a low rating on RT but I would careless since I want from a Transformers movie is too have the Autobots and Decepticons to beat the crap out of each other on the big screen. It not like you will expect state of the art in a Transformers movie.

First one didn't get great ratings either, but lot of people enjoyed it.

Giant robots, explosions, it should be good.

What do you want from a transformers movie? A deep engaging plot? YOU GO FOR ROBOTS AND SPLOSIONS.

I hope The Fallen is awesome like he is in the comics. I am expecting to see giant robot fighting, and some great action scenes. Nothing else really since it Transformers not The Dark Knight or anything.

Sad that I'm expecting this to be a much better movie than Terminator Salvation, I didn't think they could screw that up but god what a boring mess of a film. At least Bay can keep your attention with the boom boom.

Oh man I totally agree. I just about walked out of Terminator Salvation. It was a step down from the 3rd movie, and that's saying something.

Michael Bay is no James Cameron, but he knows how to make popcorn movies. I'll be seeing Transformers in a week or two when its not being power-zerged by children and loud teenagers.

I loved the first one for what it was-- a fun, stupid movie with great action and likable characters. I'm going to try and see this one on opening night if I can, but if not then I'll probably see it on Friday or Saturday.

Based on the concept art, he is the best design in the movie.

He kind of reminds of the Seraphim units in Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.

I know I'm going to go, because somehow I feel like I have to see it because I'm a Transformers fan, even if I know I probably will be pretty bored with it.

The movie is SUCKING ME IN. I don't know what it is.

Movie's promised to suck. Bay has never made anything that didn't feel like it was raping my intelligence in the worst way possible (no! not the corn!)

Plus everything I've read hints to me that the best thing about the first film- Spielberg's early development of it being the story of a Boy and His Car which gave it some soul- is gone.

Oh well, just wait a few weeks and I'll have BRUNO. Now that'll be retarded AND perfect!
