Does anyone show their fanhood to Evangelion in weird ways. You know like tatoos, decales on your car, dressing up as an eva character for anime cons. Anything.

To be honestly truthful Kaji was the reason I grew my hair long. I started growing it back in during my freshmen year in highschool (don't worry, it's hasn't been that long. I'm going to be senior in highschool next year). I wanted to be a 'smooth operator' like he was. Well, it was long, up until about a month ago. Of course, I didn't get many "Hey, you look like Kaji.", instead it was "Wow, you look like Legolas." BLASTPHEMOUS!

I'm a professor, and I carry around all my stuff in a NERV logo messenger bag. That is probably not something you normally see professors doing. Also, I occasionally wear anime-related t-shirts to class.

My hair was probably five or six inches past my shoulders when I got it cut.

Kaji didn't have a mullet! He had short bangs, you know the hair right above your forehead. It's a tendency for anime characters with long hair to have shorter bangs, I suppose it make them look more dramatic.

Kaji's hair isn't that long! Now that's just neglecting to get a haircut...

Now I see how that would elicit a lot of Legolas comments... but you'd have to have blonde hair. I just can't see him sporting the brunette look.

To answer the fandom question, as much of an Eva junkie as I am, I really don't do much to show it outside of the internet, and I'm fine with that. Although I did cosplay as Rei at a convention last month... which I'm never doing again. Ever.

Man I wish I had some professors like that. Do you give your students automatic A's if they writer a paper about Eva?

What do I do? Well I spend a good deal of my life on these silly message boards.

Ill also admit this......... I steal NGE lines and use them in public. Every now and then you can hear me say somthing along the lines of "What are you. stupid?", "(Random guy) no Baka!", "I musn't run away, I musn't run away...." and of course "Would you like to become one with me?" (Said that one to my girlfriend, which shes an EVA fan herself, but she politly refused)

The other day, my sister's boyfriend bought me a NERV shirt, and I love that thing to death. I want to make a website dedicated to Shinji, but I'm pretty lazy. I also wanted to make one for Ritsuko and Maya.

Dytto.

That's really the only non-standard Eva thing I have... The rest of the collection is limited to the movies, the english version of first four mangas, and the perfect collection in the limited ed. metal box...

Course, if I finish the chair that'll change all that. :P

No, but some students do like it when I say they can write literature papers on manga.
