It would be cool if it is 1.11. I'm also looking forward to the subs vs dubs debate starting up again.

Come on take one for the team. How many times do you think you're gonna be able to see Evangelion in theaters anyway? Besides i'm sure the dub will be good ...probably. ^_^

My best bet to see the films in the theaters right now is if they play it at a theater in NYC this fall.

Maybe.

A New York screening would pretty much be my only chance of seeing it too... Unless it's when I'm back in school, in which case I would pretty much have no chance of seeing it at all (since I'd be too far away from New York).

if I lived closer to Houston, I'd srsly go, but I'm not, so I won't :biii: (it's a five-to-six hour drive or about that amount of time if I went through DFW and caught a flight to there from where I live)

"Shinji, you suck."

So I wonder if anybody will be confused by the second 2.0 trailer being up on the website since it's 1.0 that's showing.... >_>

Even though I'm more of a sub fan, I'd be willing to see Webuild in theaters, dubbed or not.

I think some people who don't know the difference will be confused. While its not the biggest screw up i've seen, its still pretty close.

Houston screening

Hmmm...
My parents live near Houston so I could make a convenient visit to the folks. . . except it'd be for a DUB. So. . . probably not.

At least I caught the DFW SUB screening where I live. (which, BTW, was only 1.0 but on nice, bright film I believe)

I would say that whether you prefer subs or dubs, if you haven't seen it in a theater - check it out!

You want a girl to dress as Tiffany Grant?
It wouldn't look anything like her.

I find it hilarious that some of you don't want to go just because it's a dub (that you haven't even seen).

It's EVA on the big SILVER frikin SCREEN!

But if you watch a dub then it means you're not 1337!

Since the other topic is locked, here: http://blog.funimation.com/evangelion/

Sucks how you the comments area is locked already. I wanted to ask them about something about AWL/if she'd be involved with this.

...And somebody in the comments thought Mike McFarland was EvaMonkey? O_o lolwut.

not really, no, just thought I'd have yet another joke at SSD-chan's expense :emogendo:

And somebody in the comments thought Mike McFarland was EvaMonkey?
maybe EM should apply for a voice acting job at FUNimation, maybe start a petition or something else?

btw, EM should trademark EM, Eva Monkey, EvaMonkey, etc., so he could sell lunch boxes and other crap and make a ridiculous living
