Well I'm back from Tekkoschocon 09..Could have had more people but all together it was pretty good as normal. Rained Friday but we still got some nice shots.

The Eva crew was very thin but we found a Gendo, 2 Asukas "one came from Japan the day before and loved us!" a Kaji and a Rei.

1.) Despite what you may think, wearing a belt that way makes you look the opposite of cool.

2.) Gendo is short.

If you are talking to me then I understand ur point. It was either my belt or my pants was putting an odd color in my shirt so I wore another one. It was just a bit long.


The Gendo was not that good a Gendo but he was an amazing person. He always goes to Gendo wearing a hat that says "worlds best dad".

This was the good Gendo though..


I was scared of this man, they call him Musical Gendo. He had to escort Greg E. out of the con so we hung out with Greg and him for a while. I love Greg so much, hang with him every Con.


Have another shot like this under a stair set. I think we are going to take one like this but with me inside of an elevator holding Misatos Cross.

so the ADV evangelion people weren't there this year? did the con people say why?

There was no Tiffany Grant this year which bummed me out cause I hang out with her each year with Greg. I talked to Spike Spencer - Voice of Shinji - and he said he wants to go to Otakon and Tekko.



Always a great Con when you hang out with Greg...It pays to be an Eva cosplayer at times. Got to love our dumbass expressions.

LOL. That Gendo looks more like John Travolta in the film Swordfish where he plays that gangsta boss.

I did nothing of the sort, I found a Template on Deviant Art for download and made the back of them custom for each pilot..Unless you made the Deviant Art download and if so amazing job to you!

nah, i only pretend to have artistic talent, dont have a deviant art page. but I did get that nerv bag recently from katsucon, didnt customize it at all but i may take off the distributor logo soon

she flew from Japan just the day before, she was with the band. She ran over all super excited to see me and the gang. Took a lot of photos with her. Great person, I wished her a safe trip back to Japan....Somewhere in Japan there are pictures of us..Cool.

I was there as well, and I cosplayed as Keel Lorenz early on Saturday. I think only one person recognized me in any way. When people asked who I was cosplaying, I'd have to go through a long explanation because he's so relatively obscure. I don't have photos yet, but I'll post them when I get them.

I saw most of these cosplayers save for Kaji... they all did a nice job, I thought.
