Unit-01 vs. Deathsaur

Ok. I know this is a lame thread but i'm curious. Which one do you think would win? I personally think it'd be close, but unit-01 would wipe the floor with the deathsaur.

According to Google (why didn't I think of that in the first place?), the Deathsaur is something from "Zoids". Lookie-lookie.

But the answer is pretty simple. Pit the epitome of Evas -- The Almighty Yui-sama -- against your run-of-the-mill mecha, and it's rather obvious who's going to win. Yui-sama is slated to survive whatever catastrophe eventually wipes out our solar system. I don't think the Deathsaur, Deathscythe, or even the frickin' Death STAR is going to pose much of a threat.

That thing looks like a worthy adversary for that Toyota LandCruiser from GoS.

There is only one thing in this universe that could seriously challenge Yui in her new S2-boosted form, and that is Bruce Campbell. But I see no reason why they should be fighting against each other.

...On the other hand, cross-breeding NGE with AoD would present some groovy alternate scenarios:

Yui: "You found me beautiful once."
Gendo: "Honey, you became real ugly."

Well, at least the LandCruiser has the benefit of being designed by Ikuto Yamashita (mmm, yummy). Not that he's an infallible fellow (::cough::bunk armor::cough:: ), though.

I only changed it because of all the complaining people do around here about spoilers. I guess it's okay since it's in Series Specific, I changed it back to regular text.

In general I'm leniant with Spoiler warnings here. I'll put them on threads like "Who Killed _________", as well as editing the title, but for the most part with a series like Eva, any thread discussing it contains some spoilers, and so it becomes a bit pointless.

Hmm... I think the "Evil Dead" series is going to be my next target at Blockbuster Vid.

The fact that Yui is in EVA-01 is SO ingrained into my brain that I throw it around without even thinking. I can't even remember the first time that Yui's name is even mentioned in the show, though I suppose episode #16 DOES make it pretty obvious that "Shinji's mom" is in there... Still, if you're really sharp, you can figure it out before episode #01 is over.

EVA-01 moves her hand to protect Shinji from the falling stuff and Ritsuko whines in denial.

the only reason I made this thread is because I went through a zoids phase for a while, so I wanted to mix things up a little.

The Death Saurer is extremly powerful Zoid and I think could kill EVA 01. Its like the devil of Planet Zi.

While in Season one the Death Saurer was just a clone of the real thing so it wasn't all that powerful. The real Death Saurer(as seen in season 2) is the one that wiped out pretty much the whole Zoidian race and is ressurected in season 2 when Fiona activates the Zoid Eve.

Now the Death Stinger I think has an even better chance even though the Deather Saurer & Death Stinger merged at the end.

It survived a crash from space. It can goto into magma with no problem. It can survive the impact of a black hole(made by the gravity cannon). A huge Charged particle beam that has a very long range(it can shoot from space). Hiltz destoryed many towns with it, killed many people & even destoryed the republic capital. He is worse than any terrorist in our world. The Death Stinger has something like an AT field too. The Death Stinger never even lost it was so powerful.

These Zoids are pure evil(not to mention the pilots).

If you've seen all of Zoids CC/GF then you would know. It would be a good fight to see one of them fight the EVA 01 and of course I don't know who would win.

There are robotic beings capable of beating EVAs...Deathsaurer for one, and certain Transformers (Any version of Unicron for instance, Galvatron) the G-Gundam guys...
