For me its probably the Original Gundam and Victory Gundam. Both were distinctive and powerful but not powerful enough as to just completely forget there are pilots in the suits. But forget about Gundam's its all about the Zaku.

I'm watching Gundam 00 now and I like them all, except for the armor on Virtue.

I generally like spartan, functional-looking designs, so I'd have to pick either the Ez8 from 08th MS Team, the Katoki re-design of the RX-78, or the Unicorn Gundam.

But I'm with hons, it's all about the Zaku.

The wheelchair kid turning into the Guntank was genius. Whatever asshole otaku was in charge of that show, they should have been giving a reward.

On that note, let us not forget our friend the RX-75-4 Guntank. He may have been horrendously awkward to control both on land and in space, but he was... well, horrendously awkward to control both on land and in space.

I like Formula Series suits, because they were created as an antidote to the more-guns-and-bigger-backbags-mentality. But I also like ridiculous monstrosities like Full Armor ZZ (a.k.a. Humvee Gundam) and the Red Frame & Power Loader combo, as long as hax levels are kept in check.

As for Zakus, this never ceases to amuse me.

Favorite Actual Gundam: Wing Zero. Followed closely by Wing Zero Custom. Followed by Epyon.
