from the sound of it civilizations pretty much back in this story, but that actually wouldnt make a lot of sense, even if a lot of people started coming back, everything they built along with earths eco systems wrecked up. Theyed have to start to build from the ground up, even with a lot of people working together this will amount to third world at best. You should keep that in mind when writing out this world.
