Live-Action Re-Take

It's finally happened: a live-action Evangelion movie. Only it's based on Re-Take, Shinji (Shinshi, actually) is played by a middle-aged man, and you never actually see the Evangelions.

Yes, I know V mentioned it in Zeak's thread, but I feel it deserves its own separate topic.

The low production values and the fact that Shinji is a man older than Kaji whose neck bulges out of the plugsuit make this hilarious.

Indeed, it gave a much more comical and awkward feeling to 'One more Final.' I know most of the lines and what they are saying by memory, but subs would be nice.

here's a question: how is this porn-fanfic fanfvid different from no-plot but still "live action" Eva-porn of the past? (if you dress up a porn actress as Rei, does that make it "the first live action Evangelion?")

It has a plot, whether the plot is good or not. The focus is more on the plot than the sex, so it's not pornographic (at least by United States legal definition). In fact, the version posted on YouTube has no sex scenes.

I'd say that makes it different from the pornographic fanvids of the past.

It looks alright if it were not for Ikari being like..25 and ugly. they could not have used me. I'm not in it for the sexy scenes but srsly...Get someone who at least could be considered by even a large margin someone who resembles the character.
