Ok guys... I'm confused. I want to buy the Eva Manga but what I understand there's more than one serie. I mean from the original story (not Angelic Days or some spin-off alter univserse thing) and stuff... when I look on amazon I see that there is, for example, a Volume 2. released in 1998 and a volume 2. released in 2004.
Can someone explain this to me?
Thanks!

Which one?
"Death is the road to awe"
The first edition is the special collectors edition, which they printed up until Volume 7. 2nd edition was started at Volume 8 (2004) and now covers all volumes 1-10 (currently). 1st edition is a bit bigger and wider than the 2nd, which is more standardized. The 1st edition is no longer being sold directly and have turned into collectors items more or less, so in essence you will want to go with the 2004 version (2nd edition).

Japanese Manga Volumes [1-11] Question
Rather than create an entirely new thread for one question, I figured this would be a good place to ask.
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOTOR-272&ref=myp
Does anyone know if this is one massive book or if it is the first 11 volumes just being shipped together in a boxed set style? The product description says 1 book/unit, but it seems kind of odd to bind the first 11 together and then have 12 tagging along by its lonesome. Any information would be much appreciated.

Don't underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Re: Japanese Manga Volumes [1-11] Question
If it was a boxed set, it would cost more, and we would have heard about it.
It's just the individual volumes sold as a lot. Nothing special.
Non-descriptive listing is non-descriptive.
