Worse yet I checked with someone at Borders, and they don't even have it on their records as comming soon.

i'm kinda confused about all of this. Why would Eva 9 be released and not solictied anywhere (Amazon, etc)? it's now December and not in any stores after an (unofficially) announced October release. oh well...

I dunno...It's been printed, as you can see, but people say it's not showing up in their stores. Is it possible that something happened to Santa this year? Isn't there ANYONE who can save Christmas?

I ordered a copy of volume 9 off of barnes and nobles' website. It seems they have it available now, however they still have no photo of the book when you go to search for it. I ordered it yesterday. Time will tell if I get it or not. At least we know it's coming. Strange that no other website, including amazon has it listed.

There definitely is; it's an ongoing series in Kodansha's AFTERNOON magazine, and I think there are at least two volumes out now in Japan. But I don't know if there's any more that's been fan-translated ;-)

I picked up mine from a shop called Comic den. One of those speicalty stores that cater to otaku like us. 8)

I have been searching many a book store for several weeks now and I still am not getting any results in terms of finding Eva volume 9. All the websites I have looked at have no indication of the manga as a pre-sell item or a release date.

Any info is much appreciated.
