Compare to, say, Asuka or Misato or Toji or Kensuke or Ritsuko or Hyuga or Aoba or Maya or Kihl or Gendo or Kaworu or Kaji.
Actually, hanging around Kaji would be kinda cool.
Also, if I picked Misato, perhaps she'd be so utterly hammered that, if I made her wear beer goggles and if I wore a Kaji mask, she'd mistake me for Kaji and I'd get laid, albeit with a really guilty conscience. ...actually scratch that, because if she's that drunk, she'll just vomit in my face, shout that her father was the only man she ever truly loved, pass out, and get a concussion by falling face-first down the stairwell.

She is the character from the "Iron Maiden/Girlfriend of Steel" game, and sort of yet another love interest for Shinji. She also piloted a giant robot developed by the Japanese military which crashed.
As to whom I'd want to bring to life, Asuka, but without the bad crap in her life, I would have liked to have known how she would of faired if given a normal existence. In light of her natraul ability and intelligence, I believe she could have gone far.
