Things you missed the first time?

NGE is one of those series which you just have to watch again to find missed parts, right? So do you remember what you missed when you first watched NGE? I'm not talking about the whole plot just some smaller things.

I remember thinking about the mystery of Ramiel's (Floating Fortress) drill. What's he going to do when he gets thru all the armor layers with that drill? Squeeze thru it? Only later when I saw the pyramid right under it did I understand it...

I watched ep. 2 (or so) of Eva before I realized when Unit 01's head armor falls off and Shinji looks over you can see the angel symbol on the Eva's head (it's turned to the side though so you can only see half of it). I guess I was concentrating too much on that eyeball.

I didn´t know what was that too.

That's one of the parts of ep25 that does depict the 'real' world; most of ep25, and all of ep26 takes place in the shared consciousness of all the characters (tho, of course, concentrating on Shinji) during Instrumentality.

The first few eps when you see all those constructions contracts, when they now installing those buildings to transport the Eva to the surface and installing electric cables certain places for the Evas.
