Yeah, I think it'd be kind of hard to link to my doujin books that are up in my room. Maybe I'll scan in some pics of them sometime though.

How about COMPLETE scans? That would be even better!

I could give you some scans of my NGE crap in return. ;)

That sounds fair, but it'll have to wait a few weeks because I won't have time until I finish my spring college semester.

The Eva Monkey wrote:A good example of clean Doujinshi would be the Evangelion Iron Maiden 2nd comic. Although unlike most doujinshi, its licensed by its creator.

Ah, it's always nice to roam message boards and find someone asking your question at the first sub-board (what on earth do you call a board within a board?) you come to.

Becase I need a life, I have been literally scouring the net for ages to find some doujinshi scanlations/raws. You wouldn't believe how hard I've searched and all I've come up with are the ones mentioned here, that beautiful Wounded God one, and hentai. I've read those and I hate hentai. I'm wanting gag, drama, shounen ai or yaoi.

If you have ANY links to places that have doujinshi downloads, please reply, e-mail or PM me. I can do HTML d/ls and BitTorrents, but if it turns out neither of those have anything, I guess I'll venture into the cumbersome enviroment of IRC.

Sorry to revive an old thread, I just don't see a point on starting a new thread.

If you seek out Internet groups representing yaoi and shounen-ai, you'll probably find people willing to send you scans under the table...

For the other stuff, I'm becoming increasingly convinced that the easiest way to get ahold of it is just to fork over the dough. Unfortunately, it's tough to know whether you'll just be ending up with more hentai or not; cover images can be deceiving.

Short for "Doujinshi", the word means a fanfiction which, instead of being written in prose, is drawn, in the manga style.

Whats the difference between Doujinshi and Doushinji?

Doujinshi is fan produced comics, often using the characters of a pre-existing series.

Doushinji... there is no such thing. Typo.

But if you loog it up, you get so many hits and there is no typing correction suggestions. Look:

It's a mispelling, and google isn't run by anime nerds.

doujinshi - 3,230,000 hits

doushinji - 9,710 hits

There are a lot of hits, but then again, a lot of people can't spell, and it's inconsequential compared to the proper spelling.
