Jennifer Carpenter as Misato, if this becomes a white cast? (I hope it doesn't, but if it does, they better be darn good actors.)

Robin Williams as Kheel

Hugh Laurie as Gendo?


The pilots NEED to be like, 11 or 12, since if a trilogy is to be made, they'll be like in their mid teens on the second movie and late teens by the third. So casting needs to be preemptive in that regard.

Do you know in the latest Tron, they used CGI for the actor to make him look younger?

Every human being is an actor in some form or another. The difference is though that some people are GOOD actors while others have no real passion and don't know how tap into authentic realism.

I have not read this entire thread, so I don't know if she's been brought up before, but Deborah Ann Woll, from True Blood fame would be INSPIRED casting for Asuka.

Maisie Williams as Asuka anyone? I reckon she's a great young talent and she seems like she is capable of playing someone like Asuka who is Loud, fiery and rash.

As previously mentioned Hugh Laurie would be perfect for Gendo.

Would like the majority of the cast to be from Japan though.

Live Action Asuka

Been watching Caprica, and boy howdy, I think Lacy (Magda Apanowicz) would make a hell of an Asuka. She's probably too old now, but she was 24 playing a 16 year old in Caprica. So maybe she doesn't age.

she could maybe aspire to play an older(18yearold Asuka) but not a 14-16year old Asuka.
