What anime have you seen that has cool male characters. Discount stuff like naruto and bleach.

I like Hiraga Saito from Zero no Tsukaima

Jotaro, from Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken, kicks more ass than anybody else in anime. I had another hero but now escapes my memory. I'll be back when I remember.

Are you a comr/a/de? The 4chan answer to the Japanese annual Saimoe tourney is now under way. SaiGAR is trying to find the most badass manly character (and at the moment Takamachi Nanoha has thrashed a number of the girly-men put forwards as candidates).

For me, I think that Akagi Shigeru (from the eponymous Akagi, Mahjong Legend) is a fairly definitive statement of cool. That title has no female characters, even in bit parts. Which rather counterbalances most of my viewing :lol:

Or how about if they really are females like Kino in Kino's Journey. (I run into people on yahell every once in a while who haven't watched the whole series yet and still think she is a he.)

For cool male characters I will go with Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star.
