The fic was by Sparky Clarkson. I'm able to find the original version of the fic (written in 1999-2000) in full. I'm also able to find the rewritten version (written in 2000-2002?)...sans the epilogue, which I'm trying to find. Internet Archive says it was still listed as "Coming soon..." in 2004, and the fact that Sparky said he was working on the epilogue of the rewrite back in 2002, combined with the fact that a mirror posted to FFN in 2006-2008 didn't have the epilogue, makes me worry that it was never published at all.
But, you never know.
If any oldheads happen to have the rewritten epilogue saved on their computer or something, hit me up.
