We lost him today. A good time as any for any of us to come together and celebrate the wonderful times this man gave us.

There’s way too much thoughts for me to comment right now, so I’ll start by saying this: THE STRAIGHT STORY is one of the best Disney movies and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t watch it.

Yeah Straight Story is excellent. Probably the closest anyone ever got to recreating a John Ford movie.

Ended up rewatching Eraserhead and Mulholland Dr. today, two of my favorites of Lynch’s. The former still doesn’t get enough credit for how amazing an accomplishment its soundscape is, and MD is still just one of the best things ever- he really perfected his spin on the neo-noir erotic thriller I think, just really finding an existential dread in the underbelly of those fantasies and so much more.

I still can’t believe he’s gone tbh. Just hard to accept.
