Wasn't it Christmas last year when they announced the original June 27th release date? I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few days they announced the runtime in a tweet since they're very aware fans are dying to know how long the film. What we do know is it's not six hours. Sharing the runtime is really the last major bit of film specific info they can share without getting into spoiler territory.

Does anyone know how the three 4DX runs of the first three Rebuilds have done at the Japanese box office? Have they been doing solid business?

With 3.0 they didn't reveal the runtime till shortly before the film. But things might be different now.

CMIIW 3.0 was completed very close to release, right? With Shin being finished more than a month before release things will probably be different, yeah. Khara have been quite playful in teasing the runtime so I hope we're in for a surprise.

EDIT:
Khara's account is starting to retweet post-screening tweets, they range from two hours ago to very recent so yeah, it's hard to guess the screening time. Maybe it was intentional on their part.

Also I just read Tadashi Hiramatsu's tweet about Shin Evangelion and it's quite touching, so I'm gonna put a rough translation here:

"I just saw Shin Evangelion's preview. Really happy that I was able to meet staffs from the TV series for the first time in a while, I couldn't say hello to Anno and Nishigori because of the pandemic protocols (they're probably in other venues or not present?), but I hope I can see them once things have calmed down next year."

I’ve decided I’m probably going to open up to the spoilers mainly because this 8 year wait for the film has killed me lol I was 23 when 3.0 came out and now I’m 31, and it’ll be 32 before I actually get to see it with subtitles.

Also I want to know what happens just in case I catch covid and die before seeing it lol

A spoiler on the run time would be nice. This would be a useful and harmless piece of information that would be revealed sooner or later.

That it 'll be planed that after 3.0+1.0s release, that both 3.0 in the new 3.333 Cut and 3.0+1.0 'll be shown together in cinemas, is a great thing to do to remind everyone that the last 2 films are the ending of Rebuild.

3.0 is the beginning of what the new finalised version of Eva is about in 3.0+1.0, now that storywise Rebuild happens outside of what happened in NGE and EoE.
