Eva-R is a fic that was approved by Gainax.

Wait, eva R is an official gainax eva fanfic? I didnt know that, though I do have to say it is the best eva fic I've read.

It was officially SANCTIONED by Gainax. Meaning that Gainax told them that they had permission to use the likenesses of their characters and so forth in their fan fiction. It's not canon and it isn't official eva.

And other than the amount of dedication and hard work that was put into it (including the rockin' soundtrack), it sucks.

I'm curious... I'm still gonna watch it, but I doubt it'll be as good as the series. Then again, you never know until you see it.

I doubt this will even come out until 2010, It isn't a big enough thing to warrant rushing it out the door so they will take there sweet time.

There's going to be 3+ movies so, you never know lol. And you have a point. I'd rather see it out by 2010 and see a marvelous job on it than to have it rushed and suck.

I guess the Elijah Wood footage was from 'Everything is Illuminated' but I can't be sure. The Evangelion Unit 00, 01, and 02 footage was from a game, but prolly not Evangelion 64. And Neo?
