So what films did they use to make that, I spotted WOTWs but don't know what else.

Was impressive though for something fanmade. I'd prefer the actual one to be more mysterious but that is the sort of thing that would pull people in and get them to watch it and then the mindfucks can come in the film.

But this one is somewhat different, I wonder if it's a different version, or if someone made a derivitive version.

I like the original better personally.

After seeing 00 in CG, I'm not doubting at all that Armored Core ripped more than a few designs off of Evangelion.

That trailer looked pretty sweet actually, minus a Shia and a Kirsten and it would be an 8/10.

I hadn't seen that trailer, somehow I think that was a bit better, you at least see the EVAs more, even if they are game captures.

I just can't buy Hermine Granger as Asuka, however. I mean the bossyness is there, but there's no flirty side. A pity Lindsey Lohan hasn't done any sci-fi flicks, otherwise they could crib that footage.

if you're referring to Eva-R...then no. That was just from the Eva-R trailer

Eva-R is a fic that was approved by Gainax. I've only read the first chapter but it's good. If you wanna know more, go to it's site..I believe it's eva-r.com

Eva-R is a fic that was approved by Gainax.

Wait, eva R is an official gainax eva fanfic? I didnt know that, though I do have to say it is the best eva fic I've read.

It was officially SANCTIONED by Gainax. Meaning that Gainax told them that they had permission to use the likenesses of their characters and so forth in their fan fiction. It's not canon and it isn't official eva.

And other than the amount of dedication and hard work that was put into it (including the rockin' soundtrack), it sucks.
