We have the waifu thread, and the Little Girls you want to be thread. So how about those characters that engage the parental feelings?

We reserve the right to look askance at people nominating Kaga Rin, though.

Had the exact same feeling. It's just weird. Usually when you pin this on an anime fan, they see it as "who'd you molest".

Anime daughter? I can kinda get waifu, even though I think people take the concept way too far, but daughter? I don't even know how to process that, let alone respond.

*Reads thread*

...Well thankfully I don't need to post here, because in all the anime I've watched I've never felt paternal feelings towards any-

*Remembers Nanako Dojima from Persona 4*

Shit.... :raincloud:

Anyways, I would be honored to have Nanako as a daughter or a little sister. She's such a great kid. Ryotaro Dojima and Yu Narukami are lucky to have her in their family. She's easily the most likable character in the entire series. Of course with that series being Persona 4 and its multiple spinoffs, I can't elaborate any further without it being a massive spoiler of some sort. Suffice it to say she's the best little sister ever.

Also: Dammit Nanako you made me post in this strange thread! Time out!

Best answer. Robot buff is a great bonus. Powered by batteries and doesn't require love. Clearly best Daughteru.
Amarantos - an NGE AU, beginning with Asuka, Shinji, and a garden. Take a look. Couldn't hurt.

Her name is short for Pinocchio for a reason. Her character arc is cutting her own strings and over time becoming the most human member of the cast.

I saw the thread title and laughed. Then the thread’s author, then laughed harder.
I’ll bite:

Your lie in April’s Koharu Seto. An affectionate and well behaved nipper, content listening to piano music and not yet at the “gimme gimme gimme” age.
Her beady, little, Canadian eyes make me laugh every time she appears. It’ll be a few more years before the Betty Boop eyes develop.

Stop spoilering your images, people. Be open to others, and to yourselves.

Come on, Mr. Tines. Who's yours?

Adoption is to be taken as read, especially for the girls with dead-beat (or just simply dead) dads.

Why only daughters? Boys can be just as deserving of burning moe-moe.

Ridiculous thread deserves ridiculous response, so my anime child would be Director-kun from Insufficient Direction. So uguu desu.
