Face it. 3.33 is a Franchise Killer. It made no sense and spat upon all the EVA established characters. There is no future with Eva 3.1+1.1 or whatever they wish to call it. Hideaki Anno not only screwed the pooch, he ass-fucked it with a glowing Eva-Spear. Fuck Evangelion, you has a chance and you blew it.

Um, that's not the subject of this thread, though. There are other threads where you can find plenty of arguments for the opposite point of view.

Don't get people who visit forums for things they hate. Whatever. It's their life but no one wants to engage with pure vitriol & negativity.

As for the BD I just hope the artwork for the box is clean & simple.

on topic, i feel bad for people who preorder got canceled automatically, now they will pay more after all this waiting

It's a piece of promo artwork from from the Evangelion X Pachinko cabinet. And the combo pack has the same list price as the 2.22 bluray so they shouldn't pay too much more if anything.
Someday I hope that we'll be reunited if that is what's destined to be. Perhaps we'll discover that elusive bible. And then we will finally be free!

I know that 3.0 was released a long time ago, but it still amaze me how much Funi (or is it Amazon?) spoiled almost all the twists of the movie!

106 reviews for a product that hasn't come out? lolwhat. I can imagine the unhinged, psychotic rants and raves on there.

People were going by bootleg copies, the official Hong Kong release, or fansubs.

Always strikes me as odd how Amazon allows reviews for some products before release date before others... :uhh:

So no word on the Collector's Edition BD/DVD Combo pack?
Any word if they may include the soundtrack?
The Eva-Zelda relations are way stronger than you can ever imagine.

People on Amazon seem mysteriously inclined to forget that they're reviewing an actual product and not just the movie itself...

Do what I do and mark those reviews DOWN.

Blu Ray is finally up for Pre-Order on Amazon UK, £17.00. Also looks like it's got itself an 18 rating according to the box, although in the specs it says "To Be Confirmed."

So in Europe an 18+ rating would be the equivalent of a US R rating?

Aye, I'm not sure why it'd have an 18 rating though I can't remember anything in the film that'd warrant that. EoE was only a 15. I was thinking it was a placeholder but the artwork the other day shown the BBFC TBC logo instead.

.... I can think of at least one....
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

It's been a while since I've watched it but I genuinely can't remember anything in the film that was any worse than what happened in EoE.
