How would you imagine them added to the NGE timeline, then? I suppose you could make Clockiel share with Gaghiel, as the accompaniment to Asuka's arrival, but that's a bit silly.

"Rebuild" didn't place itself in a "Year 2015" timeline in the beginning of its series, whereas NGE did. To simply assume that "Rebuild" also takes place in the year 2015 simply because reasons is also kind of silly.
That being said, I still don't mind the "Rebuild" version of Ramiel. It just looks awesome. If the two different series share the same Angel, then there really shouldn't be a problem depicting one in the timeline of the other.

I wasn't aware this was sticking to a specific timeline, or that it was restricted to one.

There are a couple of competing timelines, but the idea is to change to each angel on the dates that they appeared in NGE as can best be determined.

Nice. I thought that was the case for the first one only, and the following ones would be changed periodically following the order in which they appeared. So this means some banners will be up longer than others then? I did feel like Shamshel was replaced too soon.

The program requires that the lot is got through by the new year, so that's only a week or two each on average.
It would be nice if it were possible to make them available later as alternate themes to be chosen by the user - this has been thought about a bit, but naturally would not follow till after the end of the sequence at the earliest.

I'd like to do them as well, and maybe a Jet Alone banner too just for the hell of it, but they'll have to wait to be tacked on at the end. There's just too much to do as it is, and honesly Sachiel was up for too long so it's going to be even more compressed from here on out. I'd rather not worry about the actual dates so much as just getting them all in though... the timelines disagree anyway, and it would hardly be worth even doing one for Bardiel if it was only going to be up for one day.

You can probably count the 12th Angel in as "original" as well. (Some callbacks to Armisael, yes, but ultimately too different lump them together.)

I'm fine with this, and it would still be chronological in a sense, since Tunniel and Clockiel came "after" all the other angels in the "real world timeline". With how good the banners have been I was kind of hoping we'd get as many as possible.

This banner is wonderful! If we had the option to have one to use full time on a personal basis, this would be my choice out of all the banners so far. There's something about the background that looks distinctly pastel-like, and I find it to be quite calming.

It's a composite of several photos with a couple of filters applied to give it a sort of hand-drawn look. Thought we needed something simple for a change. I considered doing a whole 'jaws' thing, but somehow a bright sunny day seemed better.
