Hayao Miyazaki

Anyway, in a more "serious" note, Hayao Miyazaki is probably one of, if not the most, profilic, famous/infamous and has made the most iconic animated films to come out of Japan.

He's also one of the most overdiscussed people from the industry among the anime community, and particularly recently because of his statements about otaku and all that. But regardless, it would be nice/cool/interesting to have a thread about the man and his works.

So...here it is.
