No, but not really funny, either way.
Though, Gob still might look good in a cocktail dress.

Come read EVA Sessions! This place has it, too! There'll be pizza! Not really! There are other things, too! Not EVA Sessions! Did I mention the pizza!?

^So he managed from his home or a bar to the middle of the tunnel...on a space hopper? That's pretty impressive, if bizarre.

Hah, 72 degree temperatures where I live. It never gets all that cold in winter over here-- the worst we've dealt with as long as I've been here has been, like, upper 30s.

It's 72 degrees where I am right now too.

In my house.

With a beautiful white winter wonderland outside, a peaceful blanket of snow and silence and rest and peace. The world is asleep, and I feel like time is standing still, just for me, just for a while.

Kelvin twitches me in different ways to Fahrenheit because being forced to use it and piles and piles of paper and graphs and oh Emperor the horror.

I reject Kelvin on the grounds that it's not possible to reach absolute zero in the physical universe.

The only proper unit of measure is the one that's completely arbitrary and makes no excuse for it.

Where's the problem with Celsius? I like it... Partially because the whole planet has agreed to use it and partially because the freezing point for water seems to be a fine point for 0 to me.

Boiling is also 100, so that simplifies things too.
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

What if the whole world jumps off a bridge? What then? Huh? Huh?

I guess things like kg is like that but Celsius is based on water boiling and all that. (I guess also candelas is also quite wonderful. They have all that platinum at how many degrees but they all know it is based on some arbitrary candle- why not candle infused with gunpowder...?)

Thank you Grandpa
So, my Hipster-Granny, what kind of unit for measuring the temperature do you use?

Said arctic blast has reached my area (it was like 3 F outside in the daytime) and boy am I glad that going into class is optional! Last year for winter quarter I did my classes all online and it sure saved my ass.
