No, I'm not leaving. But following tradition I'm using this thread to let people know that I will not be around much for the next three weeks.

Why? you ask (or maybe you don't). Well, anyway, I'm about to leave for a holiday in South Africa (partly staying with friends in their house in a small game park), and while I will probably have some Internet for a time on most days there (as much as I had when I toured rural Arizona, at least...), I may not have the time or inclination to use it.

I return on Nov 17th, but I then have a panic preparing stuff for a concert on 19th, so don't expect me to be really around until 20th.

And to those for whom it matters: have a good election! (I guess half of you will, and the other half won't - but that's the way of things.)

IDK whether to take a hint and leave just because i'm very peeved that I feel like I am being ignored on my more recent posts and also because I wish to do more with my life than sit around, watch the occasional Home Alone trilogy or True Lies movie, and sleep till 1 PM (I am serious, most of the time I go to sleep at midnight then wake up very late, it's very unhealthy right? ). I have been going through a lot with my emotions in the past few weeks to the point where at times I felt like I didn't want to be living anymore so until that gets remedied by having some semblance of a more stable life, I will definitely keep my distance from internet life which takes up so much of my time.

I could get a hold of him via email and see whats up. I email back and forth with him every once and awhile. I know he tends to travel to Japan around this time of the year so perhaps that may explain his current absence.
