Do you think we will see a NTV version of Q this year?

So this is something i am thinking every now and then when i am entering this forum. When will the NTV version of Q will be released. If we remember what happened with 1.0 and 2.0 this means that the NTV version should air this summer with a new FINAL preview. All the tv versions of the films in Japan aired 2 years after the theatrical release. But Khara after the release of Q took a generally different approach compared to the previous film. First they released the DVD/BD version earlier then usual and without anything new. Then we have the absence of CRC and unless i am mistaken Groundworks arrived late this time and in 2 parts (the one was released recently, the other has no date yet). So i started to thinking maybe Anno will decide to not release the NTV version this year. Someone could say they may not release a TV version this time but this is highly unlikely in my opinion.

I really hope though that the NTV version will air this summer with a new FINAL preview. This will mean that we are one step close to the FINAL release. Anyone remembers if the Q preview that appeared in 2.0 NTV had a release date for the film?

Honestly there really isn't enough to claim a pattern with any certainty...

Thanks a lot for posting this (you even have the dates!). Yeah it doesn't seem to be a pattern here except as i said in the OP that the NTV version for Jo and Ha released in summer and 2 years after the theatrical release. I think the month of the release doesn't matter as long as there is a 2 year space and it is summer. We will find soon enough....

I think it is the first time EoE will be aired alongside the Rebuild movies. Hope the new preview will be awesome

This probably means FINAL will be released next year, unless they will pull a megaton with a 2014 release.

I'm 100% certain it'll be next year. Not that it matters in the scheme of things & is all just convenient marketing but I can't imagine the creative team would want to miss out on 2015 since it'll be the 20th Anniversary of Evangelion.

Hell, I'm expecting EvaGeeks to really be booming throughout all of 2015 as Gainax/Khara/Whoever finds various ways to shill, merchandise, materialize & profit off THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION.

... it also doesn't hurt that most of the original show TAKES PLACE in the year 2015 either.

Proper trailer aside, I'll just be satisfied if we even get a hint of what's going to be in FINAL. Some new images, crappy storyboards... I mean, this is the first time that I've been involved in current Evangelion hype. I think I'm drooling a little on the inside. And maybe the outside too.

There's also the question of whether the storyboards in Sagisu's Petit film have any relevance (I used an idea from them in my fanfic), and so whether we'll see anything perceptibly related to them.
