According to the front page this is just a "preview" right now. Guess we'll see the actual walkman later on. April is the release month.

Today I learned "Walkman" refers to a brand not portable CD/Cassette players.

I couldn't find a price on there. Is there one listed?

Its about time that Shinji entered the 21st century and ditched that 1995 model. Just in time for 2015 too!

Also, Asuka didn't just buy him a new Walkman out of the kindness of her heart in GFOS. She actually smashed his SDAT player on the train because he didn't want to talk to her.

But as cool as the Sdat-Walkman looks, I personally don't think it's worth the price. Stuff from Japan is always so overpriced, IMO. I'm interested if the audio quality is decent, though. (See first post link).

[s]You'd think for the money you have to pay, the remastered 1.0-3.0 OSTs would be included for free instead of trial listening.[/s] I misread. Trial listening was at various Sony Stores (Osaka, Ginza, Nagoya) back on Friday, May 16th.

There are different plans depending on what albums you wanted to get and they included different wallpapers too. Various purchase options here.

Still can't believe these were released back in April!
