Raised from the dead for great justice.

The pecking order @ BNet

I'm in there somewhere.

Mauser C96

This one has been converted from 7.63mm to 9mm, and the fact that it still works perfectly despite being close to a hundred years old is a testament to Mauser's engineering skill. It looks like it started out as a pre-war commercial, but has been fitted with a barrel and barrel extension salvaged from an M30, Mauser's last major C96 variant, and bored out to 9mm.

Personally, I'd rather just get a wartime commercial or Prussian contract pistol—produced during the same period and identical except for caliber—and appropriate barrel—a complete Prussian contract and a wartime commercial barrel, for example—and switch between them as desired.

Mauser Schnellfeuer

A relatively late C96 variant, introduced in the early 1930s. It is essentially a select-fire version of the M30 and was introduced as a response to Spanish semi-clones like the Astra 903, which were selling like fresh meat buns on the Chinese market. Roughly a hundred thousand were built, but most of those seen in the US today have been converted into semi-auto only weapons.

The Chinese loved these; a pseudo-copy called the Type 80 is still in service.

And lastly...

Even Japanese women like the M1911

There's a Walther P38 in there as well, but it sucks.

SUNEKO FURAITO!!!

Seriously, I can't believe they allowed the "motherfucking snakes" line onto the trailer :D

Also, if they had released that trailer in the US, I'm sure the movie would have been a smash hit. My friends and I saw it and loved it. I think I may have to rent it soon and relive the awesomeness.

-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

I don't think it would be the same on DVD. I saw it in theatres with a few friends as well, the audience participation was incredible.
He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery. Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz Haderach. That is reason enough."

of course that line has to be in the trailer. That line is the whole movie.
God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

In the spirit of ferrarimanf355's recent topic:

Best use of "Hard Chain Reaction" outside of Valkyrie Profile.
