I remember a movie I watched a few years back... It was called "The Abyss" and in it the protagonist inhales some liquid that allows him to breath in high pressure(air would make his suit lungs collapse) it reminds me of *duh* LCL. It was pink-ish and about as viscous as water(probably just water with red food dye) but interesting none the less.

It was amniotic fluid (i.e. the stuff you breath while in your mommy's tummy). And BobBQ is right, The Abyss was created long before Eva was around.

not many people know this but i made cameo in evangelion.i was the shadowing figure who killed Kaji. anno got me the part. Me and him go way back ever since i pulled him out of his depression problems.

ok. while reading this post I started to remember some old cameos that took place when Evangelion was at its prime, not that to this day it has been forgotten. (keroro Gunsou's Eva). Anyway, back to the matter. I remembered one cameo in particular that took place in one famous anime and its manga, of which I conveniently have a picture. The manga?...well,

could you people guess who those persons are? Rei? Shinji? Asuka? Misato? Hyuga??.....and yes, this is a picture taken from the Slayers manga in german. Pretty old actually, I have it since I opened my first hotmail account (fragggging old).

Oh yeah! I also mentioned the anime. Well, for what I remembered, the author of Slayers was very fond of the Evangelion series, so maybe he asked for this "odd" resemblance to this infamous character of Eva in a filler chapter of "Slayers TRY"

go to minute 5:48 of the first part, and tell me if this person doesn`t resembles to "you know who". Notice the way in which he appears, didn't he appeared almost in the same way in Eva?, no humming of classic music though.

and for the second part of this chapter, go, "exactly", to minute 8:57. If you look closely, she resembles (her face) to Rei with red long hair (maybe the Lost Rei clone which had some Asuka's gens in the mix)
