How enjoyable is the Evangelion Nintendo 64 game in terms of control and gameplay? Is it at least something that will pass the time on a rainy day, or is it only worth getting if you want to build up your Evangelion or Nintendo collection?

I have it. It's probably the only Evangelion game that's actually playable. That's not saying very much. I feel fairly sure when I say that they've yet to make an Evangelion game that is genuinely fun. You're probably better off getting a copy of Zone of the Enders instead.

Pretty much every stage/angel battle is played on a different way. Personally i found it pretty ok in terms of gameplay and thought it was acceptably fun and interesting. Not a great or outstanding game by any means but i think it would be worth your while.

It's more fun than Battle Orchestra. The battles with Sachiel, Evas MP and Kaworu are really fun stages

Ramiel stage might be a bit frustrating...

Because I am terrible at games in general, I found it to be frustrating very quickly, and subsequently dull. I, personally, would not recommend it.

I played it a few years ago and found it to recreate many of the battle scenes well. If I came across it for a good price I'd definitely snap it up, just means a NTSC Nintendo 64 would be needed to play it.
