Well, so I walked through Vienna with my new phone... The image quality isn't amazing, so I tampered with the pictures quite a bit. I was trying to capture the moody feeling of this strange town. I hope you like them.

They sure paint houses with some really strange colors in Vienna.

Yeah, the light was kinda pinkish... And the house is coloured that way. I just tweaked the contrast a little to make this funny combination look even more eye-popping. :)

Wow, thanks for the compliment SSD. Although I'm still working my way through all the pics at the moment, I'm sad to say a fair few haven't turned out very well - a case of looking good on the little previewer on the camera at the time and looking like crap in full detail later. Also, probably didn't help that I experimented with the settings a lot. There's a whole bunch of the blue canal-side lights from Naka-Meguro that are completely cooked.

It is indeed. The best thing about it too was that there were some random dudes filming some amateur toku in front as well. I'll have to dig those pictures up, as I think they're on mine or my partner's phone.

I can only imagine how all those lights must have looked when you were actually there, seeing it through your own eyeballs. Must've been pretty amazing.

Wow, beautiful pictures. Really makes me want to go back to Japan... And see what else it has to offer besides Tokyo. I especially love the last one with the two people in traditional clothing and the umbrellas.
One suggestion. Since you greyscaled some pics, I think it the traditional-umbrella-pics would look awesome in grey a well. Or with a little less saturation.

Also, I love the blue-canal one. I'm a sucker for surrealistic lighting in photos, I guess.
