Another season where I'll wait to see how things pan out. The Rozen Maiden reboot is the obvious one to monitor, but for the rest I'll wait and see -- it's not like Spring has thrown up any hidden gems, so I'm starting to run out of backlog.

please, please don't let your first experience with Dangan ronpa be through the anime, read the let's play on something awful first rather than watching the anime. Anime is only 13 episodes and it will utterly butcher the plot. (I have no faith in the director who is directing DR after watching Devil survivor 2)

These caught my eye:

*Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu - Gainax is behind this, something worthwhile has got to come out of it.

*Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji - Samurai action and the manga was drawn by Tetsuo Hara of Hokuto no Ken renown.

This really looks like a fairly mediocre season to me. Ah well, it's not like I ever watch anime series as they come out anymore... I'll just wait to hear if any of these turn out to be more than what they look like. Unfortunately, they all look pretty uninspired and derivative to me. Derivative isn't a bad thing, but at least make it interesting.

I'm not enthusiastic about the new GitS Arise thing either. I am skeptical; from the sound of it, it's a pretty big departure from the sort of thing that made Stand Alone Complex and Second Gig so successful.

I'm in agreement with AR-99, Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu and Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji are the ones that look most interesting. Those two might end up being really awesome. Fate/kaleid blah blah, Uchoten Kazoku, and Gin no Saji also look potentially interesting. So I guess maybe it's not a complete waste. It's just that none of these really jump out at me.

I'll give Servant x Service a shot since Working! was fun. More of the same in a different setting sounds entertaining, if I have the spare time each week to follow it. I've heard mixed things about Daganronpa, but its premise sound so stupid that I have to check out its first episode. Probably won't keep it to the end, though. Gatchaman Crowds is one I've been looking forward to for a while now, thanks to Kenji Nakamura's seat in the director's chair. Really hyped for that one. And of course, more Illya is a good thing, so Fate/Kaleid Liner's compensation for "no Illya route ;__;" is near the top of my list.

The rest I'm more or less ambivalent about. I'll check out Rozen Maiden S3 and High School DxD's new season, but I may not follow either one of them--the latter because the BDs will likely offer a more rewarding experience than the broadcast (though same could be said for Monogatari S2).

Reading a walkthrough of a video game sounds awfully dull. I'm going to see how the reception for the anime is first before I decide on anything.

I remember reading somewhere about an anime called Historie that would tell a story about Alexander the Great(?!), seemed very interesting, I wonder why it isn't listed. Anyway, out of the ones on the list these caught my attention:

Stella Girls Academy - Girls school + Military games, such is the legacy of Girls und Panzer I guess, we'll see if it's worth watching.

Silver Spoon: - I like the premise, seems like a comedy, hopefully a good one, though I fear it may not generate enough interest for a subbing group to work on it.

Berserk's 3rd movie: Nice.

Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji is the only thing really peaking my interest. I've got high expectations for the animation. I'm gonna start on the manga tonight

Why is there a Genshiken 2 when there was already a Genshiken 2, shouldn't it be the third season?

I think it has that name because that's the official name of the manga in the US, so whoever created the guide used the name to make it clear that this show is based on the most recent chapters with the mostly new characters.

On topic, I would have to say that I'm looking foward to the new Genshiken & Watamote. The only other ones that pique my interest are the notimina shows and the new one by Gainax.
