The Mark 09 first appears to rescue Shinji from the AAA Wunder. It uses a HUGE flight pack to complete the mission but has its head destroyed by a shot from the 08 Magnum Handgun. Delivers Shinji back to Gendo.

Then it descends alongside EVA 13 to where Lilith and Mark 06 are impaled in Terminal Dogma. Here it's headless and carries a scythe. It then battles Mari and Asuka but suddenly a Seele hidden program takes over it and starts trying to destroy the AAA Wunder. Asuka in the new Beast Mode 777 uses the selfdestruct to stop it and the AAA Wunder receives minor damage.

Final status of the unit: unknown at this time. It can either be repaired or was totally destroyed.
