I fully expect the Q soundtrack to be as eargasmic as the previous two.
Perhaps it will have classic-ish music, with the appearance of Kaworu and so.
Not sure if the ode to joy will still be in it, I give it 40%, less that 50% because they already seem to have given Rebuild!Kaworu a new musical theme.
But yeah, cool.
Usually you barely notice the soundtrack while watching, it is integral to contributing to the atmosphere and you may come to recognize recurring pieces, but that's it.
Rebuild of Evangelion is one of the few movies/shows that had me going "Man, is thus Music REAL?" several times. As in, something as shocking/surprising as the beast mode scene was gping on, and I was about as flabbergasted by the music as by the picture.
So yeah, let's see what they got for us this time!

I spoilered it for myself because my eyes usually zoom in on the little text first, so unfortunately I was prepared :(
