Big bummer for me today

Today, while I was looking for Evangelion sheet music files, I almost stumbled onto the file for Heisoku no Kakudai. It's the song that plays when Shinji exits Instrumentality during EoE and is considered to be one of the best songs of the series. After much work, I managed to get onto the archived version of the site that had the file. Much to my dismay, the Wayback Machine archived EVERY single file but that one. Yes, even the To Heart files had been archived over this. So much for nothing.

I know a lot of people really enjoy that song, so I hope you can understand why I'm so bummed right now.

Damn. That sounds like in-house material from the actual production. (Unless it's just a fan approximation of what should play what) That was uploaded to the internet? What do the surviving pages look like?

I have no idea what the pages look like. I just have the guy's transcription of Rei I. It's not the original thing, just his approximation.

No, the sheet music was the person's own transcription.

My passion is making arrangements for string ensembles, because I was in one when I played the cello. I made an arrangement for Thanatos and I can't imagine why I didn't post it here.

Of all the EVA related scores I've found (mostly from Monkey's directory), I've never been able to locate this great piece. It's a shame that the file wasn't archived.

Username was posting those because I said I was curious if there were any official books of sheet music.

That truly is a shame. Heisoku no Kakudai is my favorite song of the series and I hope to one day do a recorded transcription of my own; working with the original composition to the orchestra piece could be of great use for that for me. That seems quite odd that this one in particular is the one missing, and tragic to boot. I wonder what the reason.

I'm not giving up hope yet. I'm downloading midis intended for SRC (Simulated RPG) games, and I hope to find some Eva songs there. I've found a list of existing songs that I haven't found yet, so I'm going to keep looking for those. So far, I've found nothing but what seems to be Final Fantasy and Gundam songs.

Also, I managed to find the files for Yume no Sukima, so I can transcribe those into sheet music.
