I've been messing around with proxies for the last hour. Any proxy that allows me to see the video player will allow me to click play, say "Now Loading..." for about 10-20 seconds, and then the player disappears and some message appears. (The message isn't the "this service is not available in your country" one; it's all in Japanese and it makes the player's interface disappear). What do?

I got the SMIL "playlist" file, so I've been trying to dump the streams with rtmpdump, but no dice. Don't know if I need a newer version, maybe even an older version, if I've gotten the URL parsed right, or if I have to call the server in another way (for authorization, like tacking on a session ID or including the calling web page). If someone else feels like trying, the meta base is rtmpe://fmsjp.b-ch.com/ondemand/flash while the video source is live/pv/P_025841_1500.mp4 . (And the player is http://flwww.b-ch.com/jpn/live/player/050110.swf .)

But why bother? Someone'll get it up on YouTube or Nico soon enough. Maybe someone who doesn't have to fiddle with proxies. :V

Maybe there's a mismatch with the handshake version used by your rtmpdump and server's one

Sometime ago I got a problem like that and changing to a newer version were the solution. (But downgrade version if the handshake supported is lower that which you use).

I found a (supposedly crappy version) of the trailer while Googling; still in the process of downloading it.

EDIT: Trailer/preview I found was the Space Pirate Asuka one. Meh.

But from what I've read online, it's just an extended version of the piano trailer.

I'm assuming somebody will upload the trailer to Youtube or Nico soon enough.
