Discussion of the new series of Evangelion movies ( "Evangelion Shin Gekijōban", meaning "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition"). The final instalment made its debut in Japan on March 8, 2021.
Sorry, couldn't help but think of how the title of the magazine is presented. IMA EVA! IMA AT-FIELD! IMA NOT RUNNING AWAY! IMA PUSSY OUT DURING THE INSTRUMENTALITY PROJECT! ... Must've went overboard just now. (ahem) ... Can't stop thinking about the title! (Curse you, idiotic internet!)
Someone posted some images of it here: http://xxx2015.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-79.html
But, it's not very interesting. There's no new information or images, and it seems to mostly be some info about the premiere + advertisements for other products and events.

That is definitely disappointing. Terrible. Seems almost if Khara is intentionally leaving all of us in the dark until probably October. Haven't they heard of marketing months in advance? Not even some extra footage or screenshots, different from what was shown on the side of that building that one night?
Shameful..... Even Evangelion 1.0 and 2.0 had more freakin' advance advertising than this movie....
They've got one of the most anticipated films in Japan. After a TV series, three different movies (4 if you count 'Death & Rebirth') & being a part of the culture in Japan for almost 20 years if people like they'll go see it in theaters. They don't really need to sell it to anyone, people have already made their mind and are going to go or not. All Khara has to do is make people aware the film is coming.
Yeah, what could they say to skeptics? "Come see the first half of the last half of the series you've skipped 50% of!" In a world where "The Amazing Spider-Man" releases 20 minutes of clips, I'm loving the dark. It's not "shameful" to let the movie reveal the story, it's how things are supposed to be!

If you count theatrical runs, you could even say 5.
Death & Rebirth (March 1997) The End of Evangelion [Air/Magokoro wo kimi ni] (July 1997) Revival of Evangelion [Death(True)²/Air/Magokoro wo kimi ni] (March 1998) Evangelion: 1.0 - You Are [Not] Alone (Nov 2007) Evangelion: 2.0 - You Can [Not] Advance (June 2009)
Well I understand Kaworu is going to be at the center of the story, but there is too much Kaworu so far (well, I mean, too much for me anyway). Put Rei or Asuka on the cover for a change! (Thanks for the info, Sailer Star Dust by the way.)
*Edit* Heck, I forgot the first one had Asuka already. Please ignore me. I'm sorry. I will go back to my cave.

Pirate!Asuka was on the cover of the first issue of IMA-EVA. An argument can be made for Asuka and Kaworu being the central figures of 3.0, so it's no surprise that they would share the spotlight.
