For those who don't get the joke I made with the title burn my dread is the opening song for persona 3

After the cridets of the persona 4 movie rolled there was a teaser for a upcoming persona 3 movie

So yeah I am pretty hyped but unfortunatly I heard they changed Minato's name to Eiji Kurokami I have no source to prove that though.

Edit: the name change was a flase rumor as it stands the MC is still called Minato Arisato.

This is good news. I played about halfway through the game, but got bored from the endless repetitive grind. But I am curious to see the resolution of the story. I hope we get to see lots of teenagers shooting themselves in the head.

My thoughts from the MAL forum:

I have mixed feelings about this. I'd want it to be good since I *love* both P3 and P4.

But considering how P4A was (to quote another poster) "faithful to the original game, but an absolute train wreck", I don't expect the P3 movie to fare any better. I'll still watch it at any rate.

Still, it would be nice for Persona 5 to finally see the light of day instead of pimping out P3 and P4 so much.

I think the story in P3 is held together much better than P4 was and the characters are much more interesting, so I would hopefully expect a P3 movie, especially if it's multiple films, to do better.

In any upcoming P3 project they really need a way to get Hamuko in the story along with Minato, having both of them together would make for a fresh take on things.

the animation looks pretty good much better than the P4 anime’s animation. Hope the production values are like that for the movies

Apparently the home page updates on the Full Moon days. Neat concept, I remember the P4 website had a similar gimmick of updates around Midnight for the Midnight Channel.

The production values do look good. I'll try not to get my hopes up too much since I had mixed feelings about P4's Anime, but I hope the P3 Movies do well.

Well, it seems, there will be three movies... Since the game spans from Spring to Winter and the movie has the subtitle *spring of birth* it seems to me that way.

The trailer looks very polished, a bit like P4 only movie-esquer, which is not to my liking. I've so hoped and would have loved it, if the whole movie looked the same as the animation-sequences in the game. But, oh well... At least they seem to have retained the basic distorted framing.

And now the wait begins.

Most likely not, prob a few snippets of fuuka, mitsuru, and yukari's but thats it.
