What MP3 Player do you have?

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I started researching those and loved it. However, my overwhelming urge for technology kept me climbing up the ladder until I broke down and picked up the 60GB iPod video.

I absolutely love the thing. I have only used up 20GB of it so far on media and 10 GB as portable storage. I have 15 episodes of Naruto and 5 episodes of Evangelion on it. I also have a bunch of AMVs as well as some regular music.

The screen is amazingly crisp and I have no trouble reading the subtitles. It's pretty amazing. Worth every penny. The interface is the best for any MP3 players I have used on the market and the form factor is ridiculously small.

One of these.

Those are pretty useful for transferring data between machines. Plus it's not as expensive

My uncle bought the 20GB Zen last summer, but a couple of weeks ago it became unable to import files (and the HD was still half empty). At the manufacturer's recommendation, he performed a hard reset only to wipe the drive clean with no positive result, and unless the warranty is still good (I don't know), it is now nothing but a silent, expensive paperweight.

Of course, I don't have a player of any kind because I'm poor.

Sounds like the first Sandisk I bought, I took it to the dentist with me. While taking my X-rays I set it on the table with my purse next to me....not a good idea. Later when I tried to upload files.....the text was all screwy. I did a hard reset, not dice. On the upside the warranty was still good since I had only had it two weeks and the company replaced it for free. But the new one is problem free, I set up folder files on it and it will not delete the partion I made, even worse it will only half-upload one of my favorite songs. It just started at random, and only affected one song. My other player uploads the song just fine though.

I have a NetMD that I use for the gym. It's awesome since it takes a beating and for $40 (refurbed) it's paid itself 10 times over. The only problem is transferring the music. It's SO SLOW...and I have to do it almost one at a time because the software or interface is buggy. Once it's on the MD, it plays fine though.

I use a walkman too sometimes (espcially when my greedy mp3 players have devoured the charge on thier batteries) but not from the 80's. How can the laser still function? They don't have lifespan's that long. And why not upgrade to a system that's much less prone to skipping?

Young'in
My walkman doesn't play discs, it plays cassettes. And yes a few of them still work.

I've got you beat, I have a tape deck that's larger than a home DVD player that only plays one tape. This baby is older than I am (I'm almost 20). And I love it. Can't get rid of it. Its so retrocool, with its decibel meters with their needles, no-faux silver finish but real metal exterior, and all-around hugeness.

I have a Record player/Stereo/Tape deck that is older than you. Though the only records I have for it are Eye of the Tiger and Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas album.

Until very recently, I had a working 8-track tape player, as well as funky 70s albums from Chicago and Sly and the Family Stone to play on it.

There's still a "portable" reel-to-reel player hanging around somewhere as well.

Those would look so sweet next to my Pong machine. Consider me  with envy.

How did you get video on your ipod? Did you have to use quicktime pro? I have one and I want to know if there is a way around paying 30 bucks for quicktime pro
