Thanks to Vito in IRC for the link.
I've read some of Tony Takezaki's Eva manga published in Shounen Ace or Young Ace before, so this should be hilarious.

I've got a copy which I picked up at Kinokuniya last year, and yes, it does look like the entire thing is filled with ridiculousness, so don't expect anything serious.

Implying that it's not sad; I still have to order it anyway, I noticed that they already published it just a pair of days ago.
So let’s make a wish.

I've got it, read it. Its pretty funny overall, there's one that's a very good parody of ISRK and its "brand" of stoytelling. Also, the ones by the Sgt frog guy are very funny. There are 2-3 stories I found fairly touching as well.
Edit; oh I just noticed Hyper posted the story I found the most touching/sad.

I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

So if I understood it correctly, the sad/touching one is set during Instrumentality(the folding chair) or in the period between his coming back from the LCL sea and his reuniting with Asuka, I'm right?

Kensuke is a military otaku who, at one point, is shown creepily taking pictures of girls to sell. He would clearly fit right in as an animator at Studio Gainax. -- Compiling_Autumn
EoTV is a therapist, EoE is a drill instructor. -- Chuckman
Seriously, that is the most fananked theory I've ever heard, more than Mari being Marty McFly travelling through time to keep her parents (Asushin) together. -- Jäeger

Have it but have not gone too far. The one complaint so far would be that the font is smaller than expected.
So far the piece involving Fuyutsuki gathering the pilots to remedy people's opinion of Nerv was hilarious (They're the Illuminati, yo.

Finished this last weekend. I laughed so hard I cried at some points. It's a great manga, except maybe for the fact that one of the comics was drawn by a hentai artist. That was awkward to discover.
Shin Evangelion brought me back, five long years later.
They called me the Quentin Tarantino of hentai.

Finally finished it last week too. Overall a good pickup for Eva fans. Who is the artist in question and what story did they do?

Teri Terio, and he wrote the one after "Drowning in LCL" (I think. It's the one with deranged Ritsuko.) He also wrote Glasses School, the Hentai in question here.

Yup, the story is Let's Study With Nerv!

I just finished reading it, Yun Kouga's one felt kinda out of place, even though I have to say that Eternal Fourteen was also pretty serious once you notice its context. Most of the other stories were really hilarious, but I kinda missed the point of some Yushi Kawata strips, and I was tempted to throw the manga out of the window when I read the "LAS" one.
I find it awkward when you discover that an artist isn't/wasn't a hentai artist, look at Hiroyuki Utatane's UROBOROS.

I think a lot of the guest contributors used this as an excuse to get their fan service on, there's quite a lot of it.
Two of my favorites are from whoever did the yonkoma series of 4 panels strips, especially Shinji spraying the cockroach and Seele revealing that they're masochists.
