Apperently the aurorae on Saturn (at least when processed for human ears) sound like Adam going 2nd Impact

That is the same sound definitely. The clip used for 2I is too short for it to be considered the producers thought it sounded "otherworldly". Something tells me there is a deliberate connection here.

To what is the question. The most obvious would be a connection between Adam and the Roman goddess Saturn. I think this deserves looking into.

I'd be careful on the connection, they do sound alike but Cassini recorded that sound in 2002 like it's said in the NASA page, were there similar recordings in 1995?

Whatever it is, it's a stock sound effect that I've heard in a few different films. As far as I can tell, NGE uses nothing but stock sound so I wouldn't put too much meaning behind it.

@TMBounty_Hunter Thanks for an interesting idea, and there is similarity between these recordings. I suspect that the largest part of the similarity is due to the human choices in processing. And my correlary to that, is the assertion that the 2I sounds are studio-manufactured imitations of this:

Natural phenomenon. Antarctica almost does sound this way IRL. But only infrequently, and as VLF signal radiation. If one were to light the place up with arbitrary terawattage and AATF stuff, the atmosphere might sing it's song very much like that.

When an Impact happens and everyone is obliterated to LCL in the very picosecond it occurs, does it make a sound?

No, he may very well be right. There may be nothing to it. My first impressions are that there is some minor connection beyond production value. The shortness of the sound clip seems very much like a reference to me.

Then again, that's an impression, not based in fact at all.
