Looks like they are remaking American Psycho and will have the movie take place in a modern day setting.

Seems like a vain effort, given how fantastic American Psycho was as both a film and an adaptation. Also, "modern day setting" makes it sound like films set in the 80s are classic historical dramas or something 
But wait, that sounds like a totally different story!His take was to tap the Bret Easton Ellis novel and turn it into a down and dirty new version that imagines how yuppie serial killer Patrick Bateman would fare in New York today,
