“The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea," the passage Begley cited reads. "The third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and the fountains of water, and they became blood.”

Is anyone gonna camp over there hoping to catch some random strangulation activity occur out of nowhere?

-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

Uh...it looks more brown than anything. Maybe it's the angle they took the picture from but it just looks like mud to me.

The Dead Sea has turned red before. It caused the Egyptians and Yisraelites to believe it an act of the gods. It's caused by a chemical reaction underwater. I'm not entirely sure of the details, though.

I guess that since I'm probably the closest forum regular to the lake (I live in San Antonio), I'm gonna have to go hunting for it. If anyone asks what I'm doing, I'll just say that I'm camping with my family for the summer. Whether it's wise to bring a two-month-old anywhere near GNR's head is another story.

I've seen some red "pools" during a school trip ( Elba Island if I remember correctly ) in an old mine. I'm still wondering about the percentage of iron oxide ( Fe2O3 ) in that water...

Don't worry! All you need for that is a few truckloads of SunnyD, a big motherfucking hole in the Earth, and a heart full of dreams!
