for the sake of another topid going off topic i created a new one instead

when you watch evangelion do you prefer to watch it by your self or with other people?

personally i liked to watch it by my self when i first saw it, then the next couple of times it was with other people so i cand explain to then what just happened or why somthing happened, but recently i find i cant watch it with other people anymore theres just somthing about it. i dunno what do you guys think?

im also trying to get a group of people together to enlighten them.

on a side note, im almost lusting for a group of people with a wide range of evangelion knowledge to create some audio commentary

yeah seriously, they think cartoons should all be about action (which eva has), and not a lot of talking (which i think DBZ has a little too much of) and i fear the day that naruto gets in the hands of a lamerican distributer, because it will be dbz all over again

So very true. I would hate to see anime become americanised. It would take the originallity of it away.

Both, or neither. You see, what little of the series I've seen (I like the manga, so I don't spend too much time watching the show) are tapes my brother makes me watch with him. Long story. So, I watch the dub once with my brother, and then I'll watch it again alone at night, in the dark, in subtitles.

No real reason, I guess - I just really like Rei's seiyuu, and I find the best time to watch it is at night...
All right, when I say your name, you say here. And we will assume here is short for Here I am, rock you like a hurricane.

It is easier to watch it alone, with a group it too easy to start arguing about what certain events mean, which gets really annoying when with someone who thinks they know it all, and are always right.

Yea, I totally agree. If you do watch it with a group always make sure that some of them arnt drunk. lol Normally I just watch it alone because Im tired of some of my friends who complain throughout the entire episode. 8)

I've only seen it alone, but I wouldn't mind having a group. The trouble is that I already have a hard enough time finding someone who even watches anime.

Wait, scratch that, in fact, I've only seen whole series with at least one other person (Usually my sister). I need to watch it alone

I watch it with a small group, and when a big discussion breaks out we simply pause and argue for about an hour or so then get back to the show. Kinda impractical yes, but it works

Some of us happen to like that "shounen ai crap". :þ
Anyway, I'd love to watch it in a group but I have no one to watch it with. :( I need more friends who like anime...
